Leilei specializes in Illustration, Painting with Acrylic and Watercolor, and Digital Painting


GoGo Laoshi teaches our Little Kids Arts & Crafts on Saturday mornings on Zoom. She is familiar with the physical and psychological characteristics of children at various ages, and familiar with the teaching content and requirements of each age. Her expressive personality and ability to interact with children well makes her a fun teacher. Her classes are conducted in Chinese, but we do have a translator for each session.

Miss Sarah graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2020. She has a degree education and knows how to teach English as a second language. She is also able to teach Spanish as well. Miss Sarah has two cats and loves to read. She's new to online teaching, but really excited to meet new English students!

Sarah Stromski

As a graduate of KCAD, with an emphasis in Painting, I am currently a resident of Muskegon. Being an Artist and Painting instructor for almost a decade, I enjoy practicing many Art forms with a specialization in oils, acrylics, watercolor, digital painting and even sculpting. I truly enjoy creating and sharing my passion for the visual arts with my community!

Susan gained her art skills through Kendall College of Art and Design, Ferris State University. Her college major was illustration which has proven to help other artists increase their skill level. She has a fun imagination, love for creativity, patience in sharing ideas and waiting for growth in other, empowering all ages to be their best selves and artists too! Susan specializes in Craft, Illustration, Acrylic, Watercolor, and Tie Dye. Enthusiastic about teaching people of all ages and backgrounds and has years of teaching experience with special needs students.

  Mr. Wang achieved his Master's in Aerospace Engineering in 2009 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

With an average increase of over 15% in Math SAT scores in Mr. Wang's students, he works to create effective lesson plans that increase curriculum diversity.  With over 3 years of teaching experience specializes in Math and Programming.

Xinmei Li ( Li Lao Shi)

Education:  2002-2004 Master's degree in Computer Science, CUNY

Subjects Taught:  Chinese reading, writing, speaking, Chinese root, source, words, phrase, pinyin, Chinese history and culture.  

1993-1999: Computer operation, computer languages, Algorithm, and hardware. 


With years of teaching experience in both Chinese and Computer Science, we are combining Li Laoshi's talents and creating unique Chinese classes what student and the world demands.  



Lulu Laoshi is our other volunteer math teacher. She has a vast experience teaching math to children. As of 2017, she is a paraprofessional for Brendel Elementary in Grand Blanc. Lulu is our current 8th and 9th grade math teacher.

Alex is studying Engineering Physics at University of Michigan. He specializes in Math, Physics, and SAT prep, and also has experience in teaching English and other subjects.

Riley specializes in Japanese and English Language lessons.

Riley Madsen

Gaoshan is a WMU Frostic School of Art graduate. With a focus in animation and painting. He works with a vast amount of digital art programs ranging from Photoshop, CAD, Maya, Procreate, as well as animation programs such as Toon Boom.

Gaoshan is currently accepting students for private lesson's in digital painting and 2D animation.

Johanna Fang is a Chinese teacher with a Masters in Teaching Chinese as a second language from Beijing Language and Culture University.


"Education is always the top topic in my world. I enjoy working with students to make a
difference. Everyone is different, I love to make plans for individual students to fit in his/her needs and wants, build up great relationship along the journey and make the learning process fun and fruitful. I am a big believer in project-based learning, I am always looking for fun and creative way to bring in the class."
